Nestled along the Gee Creek watershed near downtown Ridgefield, Little Wing Nature School invites children to learn, play, and discover in our schoolhouse, barn classroom, gardens, forest, and creek. We are Ridgefield’s first nature-based preschool, where every day is an adventure in nature and community.

Little Wing Nature School is a nature-based preschool that was founded in 2019 and is the first of its kind in Ridgefield, WA.

We are located on the traditional homeland of the Stl'pulmsh (Cowlitz) and unceded land of the Lower Chinook Nation. We recognize that words are not enough, but we express gratitude and appreciation for this land, and we honor the Stl'pulmsh and Chinook People as its original protectors.
